I always thought that the Museo de Arte Latinoamericano de Buenos Aires (Malba) had one of the most interesting programs for kids: the activities open to boys looking to the arts but in their own language and a fun way. That's why I wanted to share with you and those parents desperate by coincidence come to this blog for the program Activities Winter who prepared this museum. There are activities related to film, art and music. As began last July 19 with the boot still in force (click on the link below to continue reading):

Art and music
Music colors. A musical journey by the works of the museum. A proposal for the kids and their families traveling on the works from the permanent collection, through the typical music from different Latin American countries. With Yéremi Cuartirolo (Gaston Carabajal) and Marieta Musical (Maria de los Angeles Pellejero).
Saturday July 28 and August 4, Friday July 27 and August 3 at 17:00. 1st floor room. Suggested for children 4 to 10 years, accompanied by an adult. Cost: $ 5 per participant. Capacity limited. The tickets are on sale from 12:00 on the same day.
Storytelling
The storytellers Chichizola Victoria Garcia and Virginia Richter suggest stories that stimulate the search and reading the works of art, sharpening the ability and aesthetic appreciation of the boys.

Visits
Families in Malba. An approach to works from the museum's permanent collection through games and activities to share with family. The visit concludes with a workshop where children can make their own works.

Film Workshop
Hacete the movie! Through this activity, the boys have access to the back of the cinema. In addition to seeing some shorts, a short film, for which dramatize the main roles (director, cameraman and scriptwriter, among others), and experienced film tricks.

Musical
Laughter from the wind. Magdalena Fleitas and his band of seven musicians and three dancers presented in the new CD Malba Laughter wind in a colorful spectacle, joyful and participatory approach to the whole family. River Plate beats, chacareras, airs northerners, drums, charango, and sikus quenas close to those guys the rich musical traditions of Argentina and Latin America.
Wednesday July 25 and Aug. 1 at 15:00. Auditorium. General admission: $ 12. Children under 12, $ 5. Capacity limited. The tickets are on sale from Monday, July 23, daily from 12:00 to 19:30.
Workshop on art and literature
The game of the ways to discover a thousand images in the stories. From a selection of picture books (The paintings of Willy, Willy the dreamer, Changes, Marita did not know draw, Zoom, Re-zoom and the other side), the guys play to be artists combining stories and pictures. Different games allow them to find the keys to develop your perception and your taste for art. The workshop was coordinated by Emmanuel Rocco-Cuzzi, National Professor of Painting.

Workshop illustration
The images have their say. The workshop suggested that kids learn to illustrate their own books, looking at how to illustrate the "large", based on the idea of dialogue between image and text. It is coordinated by Isol, illustrator, poet and creator of comic strips.
