UPDATE (19.10.08): According to IMDB, the film was premiered in 2010. Until this moment there is not much info, but it is published in 2010. Pet Shop of Horrors, the movie.
Thanks to have secured the series on DVD Pet Shop of Horrors I have been obsessed with it again, and looking for information on the internet I learn that the production company Rogue Pictures has obtained the rights to make a movie that is estrenaría in 2008. Having seen the series again yesterday and this news made my week and so I wanted to share with those who do not know this jewel.
The series is based on a pet store located in Chinatown in New York that an enigmatic figure named Count D (image) promises to find "what customers want." Clearly, what people think you want is not always what you want in it.
Thus, the series has a strong critical tone towards society and ends with a moral that the Count D shows through animals delivery. Because the store provides unique and exotic creatures, but with some conditions not respected these assumptions (like "do not get to eat such a thing"), the house is not responsible for the results.
Pet Shop of Horrors consists of only four chapters or eggs that are half-hour spin through a detective who is investigating Count on suspicion of drug smuggling.
Really pin, but too little to wait for the movie ... Those who know details of both the series and the movie are invited to share it.

I love Pet Shop of Horrors, this to me is almost like a dream. Cound D, Leon Orcon, are sensational. I only hope that the film attached to the sleeve, hold the strange "friendship" that there are close D and Leon. Without a doubt one of the finest details and a favorite among many of the fans of this great Manga.

I fell in love with the series only four chapters ... but of pure quality!
and the sleeve! JA! In the series ... I just had drawn attention Count D.. But also in the manga I fell in love with Leon ...derepente the series is far more serious, and the sleeve is not as deep well all the time ... but in the development of manga characters wins without doubt!

the second part I read only the first 2 volumes .. and I do not like anything
