
(Image: work by Olaf Hajek) BBAX 07 means Buenos Aires and Berlin Art Exchange is an event that takes place from September 15 until October 15 in Buenos Aires. It is an exchange of artists of the German capital and Argentina over a period of four weeks working and living together, and integrate experiences that work at an exhibition to be held from 5 to October 15 in the Recoleta Cultural Center.
The artists are German Armin Ceric, BauHouse, Bettina Pousttchi, Daniel Mohr, Daniela Finke, Eve Hurford, Jan Bauer, Marcel Steger and Olaf Hajek. The premises include Caraballo-Farman, Diego de Aduriz, Doma, Esteban Pastorino, Fabiana Imola, Chaila July, the Karina Azem, Marcos Lopez, Matias Duville, Miguel Mitlag, Nicola Costantino, Ricardo Liniers, Sandro Pereira and Sebastian of Ganay.
At the exhibition there will be photography, illustration, painting, video, installation and performance; a series of short films and open discussions on current artistic positions in Germany. In addition, as part of The Night of the Museums (Oct. 6), there will be special events.
The truth seems to me an opportunity to learn more interesting that what is happening at art in Berlin, which is one of the coolest cities in Europe at this time. Moreover, I find it attractive to see what can move from 'shock' of German culture with the Argentine. To schedule:
