Vanity flight case, Bruno Peinado.

I came back from the depths of overwork and to celebrate I went to see the shows that the Palais de Tokyo arranged next to the Recoleta Cultural Center.

This museum is one of the most cutting-edge of the city of Paris, with a curatorial highly original spirit and always controversial, and shows that rode in the Recoleta CC remains fairly estilo.La that it is the first center outside Paris and part of a series called Villas of Tokyo.

It was curated by the current director of the museum, Marc-Olivier Wahle, and presents works by Argentine artists and French under the title-Midi Minuit or Noon-midnight. The same, the organizers announced, "revolve around the thought of time and temporality."

I honestly felt not so much thinking about the weather, but totally the vibe of the Palais de Tokyo in Paris or a vision of modern art.

The works are disparate and generate a visceral reaction something indescribable. That is, mobilized from exile, from the dark, since it understandable.

I was left with outstanding experience on Thursday night Noon-Media, which operate between these two moments of the day. One of the particularities of this center is, precisely, which is open until 24 while most museums close at 18 (or 22 in the case of the Center Pompidou) in Paris.

Are still two of Midi-Media Thursday night, and here's programming (as the site of the Government of the City of Buenos Aires):

21:00. Miniröcke & Julie Amadeo | Music | Patio's Cistern. Amadeo and Juliet Angeles Casares (aka Miniröcke) start understanding through music and the countless points of contact to discover in relation to it. Songs are born of this merger discontinuous and fragmented; quiet music that could be incorporated easily to the sounds of the environment and making it a sensible move entirely ephemeral. These small scenes sound organized in time, ranging from a recurring loop until the unpredictability of random beats, vocals and random samples processed.

21:00. Night Round | Movies | Patio de los Tilos (director: Edgardo Cozarinsky. Duration 90 minutes). At first glance Night Round could be announced as the title, the events of one night, however, in this passage of time, Cozarinsky makes a portrait of Buenos Aires with a focus on their marginality, and building characters lost in it, like its protagonist which is a taxiboy. If in almost every movie we believe that the story might belong to a world of fiction that reflects reality, and almost with the intention of social critique, in the final Cozarinsky confronts us with a surprise twist, which introduces a fantastic. In this way the bankruptcy case realism built into the film and leads us to believe otherwise.

21:00. As the hours passed | Movies | Patio de los Tilos. Address: Ines de Oliveira Cézar. Duration: 85 minutes (2004). As the hours passed is a film that runs and driving in time, and this is evident in the story of Ines de Oliveira Cézar. The hours pass between a father and son and between a mother and a daughter, and director of account through long silences, long flat on the nature and distorted images through the use of anamorphic lenses. One might think of the film as a succession of climates that the director built through these resources, which are perceived perhaps more by images than words.

21:30. Loop, again the same river | Performance | Living Space. Some philosophies contend that the cycles temporary grant the possibility of continuity. However, if a course were exactly equal to another, there would be no possibility of a progressive time. The seasons change, water bottles were recycled. A loop that is always the same, but different. Concept and design: Sofia Medici in collaboration with Martin Gromez and Pablo Garcia Arias. The sample was good but I did not know about the scheduling special ... a penalty.
