Warehouse Oui Oui, Buenos Aires.

For all those who were tired of Fashion Week, here an alternative post. A little over a week opened Warehouse Oui Oui, a sort of branch downplayed Oui Oui, classic meeting point cool / chic Palermo Hollywood.

The store, located in front of his mother branch, is just a pantry to the old style. A large shelves with wines, jams, breads, condiments for foods, candles, shopping bags (one of my favorite items) and more, where you can also have a coffee or a beer with appetizers. I believe that in addition to a very interesting proposal for the area, for the people of Oui Oui this is a way to decompress the main restaurant and leave it for meals, while the Store is the alternative to coffee to pass.

More info and photos on the rest of the post.

Among the outstanding items are obviously the bakery, and besides I like the challenge of jam ($ 10) and the shopping bags ($ 10). My favorite of the first, the croissants ($ 3.50): It is difficult to get good croissants in Buenos Aires and these are dignísimos.

As the bag of purchases seems to me a very nice detail to get used to this kind of fashion accessory to go shopping. Years ago I use my shopping cart and I do not understand how people do not do the same. Using them saves thousands of plastic bags going to landfills without further use once. I hope that a 'cool' is selling these bags begin to change somewhat the excessive use of plastic, if only for fashion.

Returning to the Warehouse, a good opportunity to get to know him is the breakfast. One proposal includes a cafe con leche with four big toast, cheese and / or marmalade butterfingers / dulce de leche, for $ 12. It is not exactly cheap but quality, as I mentioned before, is very good.

The Warehouse Oui Oui is on the corner of Dorrego and Nicaragua. Open from 8 to 21.
