Mary Lombardi, Fall / Winter 08

More inspiration for dressing up this season, this time from Maria Lombardi.

This designer who began designing leather and achieved recognition as one of the architects of Three Shop (one of the founding of shops Palermo) was inspired by Argentina for his latest collection and conducted this campaign full of tourist allegories of the south and north of Country: llamas, deer, rabbits, and cactus forests.

More photos and info on the rest of the post.

The collection some respects trends of the season: large sizes, boots, almost fluo botinetas and colors. As I always say, the printed play against unless they are original prints, as in the case of Lombardi. Thus, the print of the birds seem interesting and appropriate clothing while the average in pastel colors are nice.

Without apparent reason than the taste itself, especially highlight the fuchsia and purple pullover from the first picture ($ 560), capping the color of the bone-before last ($ 720) and skirt with a short appearance in the last picture ($ 158 ). The prices seem a little high, but it is understandable case of a mark from the heart of Palermo.

Lombardi sold at Shop Three (Armenia 1655, Palermo), in a Showroom (Arenales 607, Vicente Lopez) and a listing of shops in the city of Buenos Aires and the interior which are listed on the site of the designer.
