Some time ago I still blog Lado B, and surfing past entries I came across an article referring to the Spanish artist Juan Francisco Casas, to copy pictures using only pens.
"In earlier times, when his was the painting, as in the past three years, where he specialized in the technique of drawing 'at the Bic', the strategy of art houses remained intact: to recreate snapshots of If not for that detail, had not reached any significance, "writes Pancho Dondo on the blog.
Unfortunately his works should be well beyond the reach of mere mortals: some of them are in the Basque Museum of Contemporary Art and the Saatchi Gallery in London.
