The last Saturday I was invited to see the play Body Art, which is held every Saturday at midnight at the Space Theater Elkafka the neighborhood of Almagro. While I am no expert on theater'm going to try a little criticism, or to explain why I liked a lot.
The play recounts the relationship between an eccentric artist (Elena, played by Mary Colloc) yy a disciple acomplejada (Aimee, played by Sol Rodriguez Seoane) who fall in love and like any couple desenamoran in everyday life. What's interesting is that despite the fact that these are two women, the story does not fall into the pavadas that series like The L Word trying to say about love between two people of the same sex. In fact, the story is more about the different positions that will take a person in the couple, which at times is the 'who loves' and others' the beloved', with the drama that that entails.
This story that summarize in one paragraph is richly told in the form of 'souvenirs' that are nothing more than memories of key moments in which one or another player they realized something about the other: that loved her, that was selfish, that the story was over, and so on.
"Love is a polaroid" they say in a moment the players. A melancholy phrase that sums up the shaft a bit of history and of the work.

The eccentric Élène look to the submissive Aimée.
As a note of color, is worth the time that Elena sings a theme that he composed for his disciple at its moment of greatest love for her. The voice of the actress is very deep and the climate that is created is hypnotic. Also the time that Aimee danced in a bit awkward but charming.
There is one final character, the third in discord, I was very interesting and I will not say much more because it would ruin a little history: Rene, played with grace by Ramiro Gimenez.
Body Art was written by Sol Rodriguez Seoane and was the winner of the contest First Work of ARGENTORES in 2007. Its title refers to the movement of artists who used his body as Liezen expression of his creative angst in the 60s, and it has to do with the lives of Helena (most of this movement: Body Art in Spanish Wikipedia - Body Art in Wikipedia English). The play is directed by Miguel Cordoba Israilevich.
Body Art. Saturday at 23:55 at ElKafka Space Theater (Lambaré 866, Almagro). Admission: $ 25 discount to students. Reservations: 4862-5439.
